Gulmarg Blanketed In Several Feet Of Snow After Prolonged Dry Spell
Gulmarg, a renowned tourist spot in north Kashmir, is blanketed in several feet of snow, with temperatures plummeting to several degrees below freezing point. The snow in Gulmarg has come late this year though, after a prolonged barren spell. The fresh snowfall is great news for tourism with footfalls set to rise and even for farmers in the larger region who were worried about the impact of no snowfall in the area.
