Is the school shootout in Gurgaon part of a new gun culture where possessing a gun is a status symbol. There has been a phenomenal rise in the number of gun licenses issued in Gurgaon in the last few years. Most of those who purchase guns claim they are businessmen or traders. But a lot of them deal in property, clearly they have benefited from the enormous property boom in recent years that have sent land prices soaring in Gurgaon.
