"Last year when Delhi NCR was blanketed in toxic haze and was declared a 'gas chamber', many families moved from Delhi-NCR to other places across India. It was disheartening to know that our neighbours have to leave because of air pollution. But what to do... as parents we can't compromise with the health of our children. As a solution to the escalating pollution levels, we are now motivating all of the mothers across the country to come forward and plant more trees and nurture them," said a member of GurgaonMoms, an online community of over 25,000 women that supports urban mothers, while speaking to NDTV.
