Guwahati: Media beaten by CRPF personnel
On Monday, Guwahati media was in for a surprise when they were waiting outside the chief judicial magistrate's court where ULFA sympathizer and a former mediator for the outfit, Hiranya Saikia, was being produced. When the media tried to converge as Saikia was being led away, one CRPF personnel started hitting at journalists and camerapersons and then charged them with his stick.
