Guwahati's shame: 30 men seen molesting girl, just 4 arrested
A Class 11 student was molested outside a pub in Guwahati by a group of nearly 30 men on Monday night. The shameful act continued for 30 minutes till the police arrived and rescued the girl and handed her over to her parents. However, it did not make any arrests that day. The government and the police were forced to take action only after a video of the incident, shot by reporters of two local channels, went viral on YouTube. Two days after the atrocity, four people were arrested by the police. But many culprits still remain free.
