Varanasi's Gyanvapi Mosque Survey To Begin Today, Says Official | Read
A survey of Varanasi's Gyanvapi mosque by the archaeological survey of India will begin today, the district magistrate has said. The survey -- ordered by a local court on Friday -- will begin at 7 am. The survey will extend to all areas except the sealed "wuzukhana" where a structure claimed by Hindu litigants to be a 'Shivling' exists.
