120 Arms Licenses Cancelled, 30 Arrested Over Haldwani Violence
In the aftermath of the Haldwani violence, the district magistrate has issued orders cancelling 120 arms licenses in Banbhulpura area. Several other gun licenses are under investigation. Thirty people have been arrested so far over the violence that broke out following a demolition drive, in which at least five people died and several cops were injured.
