Hamas Blames Israeli Raids At Al-Aqsa For Attack
The disputed site of Al-Aqsa is a huge factor in Hamas' attack on Israel. In fact, the terrorist organisation described the surprise assault on Israel as an operation in defence of the Al Aqsa mosque. This has triggered yet another conflict around the disputed site which is sacred to both Jews and Muslims and is among the most contested religious sites in the world.
