Handling The Crisis Of Solid Waste

1 lakh tonnes of solid waste is generated every day in India. From huge landfills full of waste to an abundance of plastic bags, solid waste is a serious crisis impacting the environment and contributing to health hazards. Campaign ambassador Mr. Amitabh Bachchan stressed on the importance of inculcating the importance of waste segregation, recycling and composting in kids from a young age so that the same thoughts and actions are taken forward.
