Hannah Foster case: Verdict on Monday
The rape and murder of 17-year-old schoolgirl, Hannah Foster in Britain had made headlines in India four years ago. Hannah who was doing her A levels, was kidnapped, raped and then murdered on March 14, 2003 in Southampton. The prime accused, an NRI, Maninderpal Singh Kohli, who worked as a delivery man near Hannah's house, was arrested after her parents launched a relentless campaign in India, for information on him. He had escaped Britain to hide himself near Darjeeling.
