Lakhs In Haridwar For Kumbh Holy Dip Today Amid Covid Crisis
The third "shahi snan" or, holy dip, of the Mahakumbh is taking place in Uttarakhand's Haridwar, with lakhs of devotees expected to take a dip in Ganges at a time cases of COVID-19 are surging across the country. But on the banks of the river, social distancing continues to remain a distant reality with most devotees claiming no fear of Covid. Akshay Dongare reports.
