According to the affidavit filed by the Haryana government in the Supreme Court, the state has reduced the amount of water being released into the Munak Canal from May 23 during the elections in Delhi, claimed Water Minister Atishi. "According to Haryana's own data, it reduced the water released in Munak Canal from 719 and 309 cusecs to 675 and 283 cusecs. For the last week, where 675 cusecs of water were released in CLC and in DSB where 330 cusecs of water were to be released, only 310 cusecs were released. With these figures, it has become clear to the country and the people of Delhi that the Haryana government is withholding the rightful water of Delhi," she said.
