Has Tanishq Surrendered to Fear, Intimidation?

A Tanishq store is threatened and its manager forced to paste an apology on his store front in Gujarat. The Advertising Standards Council of India, on receipt of a complaint on the ad, says there was nothing indecent, vulgar or repulsive in light of generally prevailing standards of decency and propriety to cause grave and widespread offence. Has Tanishq surrendered to fear and intimidation after it decided to pull an advertisement that celebrated diversity?
