Hathras Case: UP BJP Leader Says Cops Acted On Their Own
Just days after CBI filed a chargesheet saying the Hathras victim was gang-raped and murdered, a senior BJP leader in Uttar Pradesh told NDTV that some "corrupt" policemen may have acted on their own to tarnish the government's image. He said the UP government has stood by the family all along.
