Writer and socialite Shobhaa De received a lot of flak online and offline over her tweet on India's initial performance in Rio Olympics. Accusing Team India of wasting time and money, Ms De commented that opportunities like the Olympics were being used as a holiday rather than to win medals. On this week's episode of The Big Fight, the author cleared her stand, saying that she'd tweeted out of panic and was happy to be proved wrong. She further clarified that her tweet was against the officials and not the athletes.
