HC legitimises baksheesh as legal expense
Baksheesh, a single word or action that gets everything done in India. A token of appreciation that will now be regarded as a valid business expense. Thanks to a recent ruling in the Bombay High Court, a division bench of Justice F I Rebello and Justice J B Devadhar gave the order relating to baksheesh handed out by sugar factories in the state making them legal legitimate expenses.
