BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Monday slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's remarks at Cambridge University last week. "He would go to colleges and speak and give his views but people didn't listen," Mr Naqvi said, adding, "He is lying, that I'm not being allowed to talk in the country that is why I'm forced to talk outside the country." Former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi alleged during a lecture at Cambridge university that Indian democracy is under attack and several politicians, including himself, are under surveillance. Mr Naqvi hit out at Rahul Gandhi, saying: "Now that he has failed here, he has gone outside the country to play games." Referring to the controversial Pegasus snooping issue, Gandhi alleged that the Israeli spyware was installed on the phones of a large number of politicians, including him. (Video credit: PTI)
