The brother-in-law of Major Ashish Dhonchak, who was killed in action fighting terrorists in Kashmir's Anantnag, spoke to NDTV. A distraught Suresh said: "I cannot face them (his sister and family). I spoke to him a month back when he got the Sena Medal. He was happy with the gallantry award and said, "The country now has fewer enemies." He spoke with my sister the day before yesterday and said he would come home around his birthday on October 23, when he had planned to hold the housewarming of his new home. He promised my sister that he would call back in a few hours after an operation. But that call never came."
