There is a rain red alert for Gujarat, Maharashtra, the Konkan region, Goa as well as Telangana. It is also raining heavily in Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka. Seven people have died in rain related deaths in Gujarat in the last 24 hours. Usually such warnings last 2-3 days, but this time, the monsoon mayhem has stretched over 10 days.
