Strong storms moved through Houston overnight heading into Christmas Day, leaving several roads flooded. The rainy roads present a challenge for holiday travel. Approximately 9.1 million people in Texas will travel 50 miles or more from home between the period of Dec. 21 to Jan. 1, according to AAA Texas. Out of that number, 93% will likely travel by car. In another development, Video from Hawaii shows the Kilauea, one of the world's most active volcanoes, is apparently spewing lava into the air. The eruption of Kilauea volcano on Hawaii's Big Island has stayed within the mountain's summit caldera inside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. No homes were threatened.
