Hegde speaks to NDTV on illegal mining report
Karnataka Lokayukta Santosh Hegde's much-awaited report on illegal mining will be out today. Justice Hegde will submit his 11,000-page report to the state government by this afternoon. Describing the conclusions and his portion of the report, Mr Hegde said, "In reality, it's about illegal methods used for mining for the purpose of export and how they avoid duty and the taxes payable."
