Help Pours in For India's U-23 Wheelchair Basketball Team After NDTV Report
Financial support poured in from multiple quarters after a report on NDTV highlighted the plight of India's under-23 wheelchair basketball team, which aims to travel to Bangkok for next year's world championship. The team needs around Rs. 15 lakh for financing the trip and sponsors are hard to find. However, Rs. 6 lakh has now been raised that will help the team to pay the participation fee for the event. The team now need another Rs 9-10 lakh for its dream to become a reality.
