HelpAge India Steps Up For Disadvantaged Elderly In Mumbai
Senior citizens are one of the worst-hit sections of the society during the coronavirus induced lockdown. With no access to adequate healthcare and minimal or no pension, many have no choice but to work in order to survive. In the time of distress, HelpAge India, a non-profit organisation which has been working for the disadvantaged elderly for nearly four decades has stepped-up. The NGO is reaching out to seniors, helping them with food, dry ration and health kits.
