Volunteer group 'Here I Am' is our Lottoland Aaj Ka Sitara for today. As the second wave of COVID takes a heavy toll in Bengaluru - a very real problem is the burial of those who die of the infection. Covid protocols need to be observed and family members are often Covid positive themselves. But a group, drawn from different faiths,have stepped in as the Covid Last Rites and Funeral Squad Team. Lottoland will support their cause with a cash incentive of Rs 1 lakh.
