High Commissioner Dr. Shilpak Ambule On PM Visit To Singapore
On PM Modi's upcoming visit to Singapore, Indian High Commissioner Dr. Shilpak Ambule said, "The first and foremost is that it is a very important visit that is happening very early on in the Prime Minister's third tenure and also early on in PM Lawrence Wong's tenure. It gives us a good opportunity to set the stage to take our relationship to newer heights."
On key takeaways expected from PM Modi's visit to Singapore, Indian High Commissioner Dr Shilpak Ambule said, "We are setting the relationship for a further boost in the new and emerging areas. We have a lot to learn from Singapore in terms of skills. In terms of the region, Singapore has been our pillar of engagement in the ASEAN countries. It gels with our Indo-Pacific strategy."
