High Drama Over Ex Serviceman's Suicide: Is The BJP On The Backfoot?
There were high drama and ugly scenes in the national capital today after an army veteran committed suicide over the non-payment of his pension. This has led to unprecedented political clashes. Rahul Gandhi and Delhi Chief Minister and Deputy CM have all been detained by police as they tried to go to the hospital to meet the family of the veteran. In all of this charges have flown thick and fast. Has the government and police mishandled this today or is the opposition merely playing politics, as the BJP alleges?
