High oil prices a catalyst for selling pressure in Asian markets: BBVA Research
Stephen Schwartz, Chief Economist for Asia at BBVA Research says that the reason behind the heavy selling pressure in the Asian markets is just a mere pull back after the substantial run-up since the start of this year. He added that rising oil prices is the catalyst in the downward movement as the region is a big importer.
