Hijab Row Reaches High Court
The Karnataka High Court will hear a petition challenging the action of a college that prevented headscarf-wearing students from attending their classes on February 8. The matter has now escalated to other colleges, and this weekend, students were seen wearing saffron scarves and marching up and down the streets. A classroom, which is meant to be a safe space, now seems communalised.
