Hike in state advised price for sugar in UP a negative: Dwarikesh Sugar

The UP government's decision to hike State Advised Price (SAP) for sugarcane comes as a negative surprise for the industry says Vijay Banka of Dwarikesh Sugar. He adds that given the current scenario in the sugar markets, companies may find it difficult to raise sugar prices in keeping with the hike in SAP.
