Hindu Families Observe Muharram In This Tamil Nadu Village
In a remarkable display of religious harmony, residents of Kasavalanadu Pudur village in Tamil Nadu's Thanjavur district observed the Muharram festival by fasting for 10 days and visiting the Allah temple to fulfil their wishes. Interestingly, the village has only one Muslim family, yet the entire community comes together to fast and celebrate, upholding a secular spirit that has spanned over five generations.
