Historic day or murder of democracy?
The bill to create the state of Telangana is passed in the Lok Sabha in the middle of protests, chaos and an unprecedented blackout of the telecast. Is this a historic day for the people of Telangana or a murder of democracy? Should such a crucial bill have been passed in a blackout? Or was this the only way to prevent MPs from behaving badly?
