Home loan rates hurt consumer interests
With ICICI Bank's decision to hike loan rates by half a per cent, home loan consumers should tighten their belts for a third series of rate hikes. SBI and HDFC have already increased rates twice this year and the possibility of a third hike cannot be ruled out after the RBI hiked key interest rates on Thursday.
