Homeless & forgotten: Gujarat riot victims seek rehabilitation
Thousands of Gujarat riot victims turned up for the convention on internally displaced at the Gujarat Vidyapeeth on Thursday denting the state government's claim of successful rehabilitation of the 2002 riot victims. Riot victim Janbibi and her visually impaired daughter Zarina face an uncertain future. During the 2002 riots their shop, the only source of livelihood, was destroyed and the family fled to a relief camp.
