Hong Kong bling: A shining welcome to New Year
The global economic recession may have been what Queen Elizabeth would describe as an annus horribilis. But if you take a look at the lights shining on the Hong Kong harbour you could think that all is well with the world. These lights have been billed as the world's largest permanent sound and light show. Every night, between 8 and 8.15, lasers and music coordinate to produce a show that has to be described as spectacular.
