In a conversation with NDTV, Harvinder stated that he is deeply honoured to receive the Padma Shri award. "It's a big honour for me to win the fourth highest civilian award of India. Apart from this, the proudest moment for me is that I will be going to the Rashtrapati Bhawan and meeting the President of India.
