Hospital negligence kills 17 mothers

The Health Ministry report on the death of 17 women in Jodhpur's Umaid hospital has revealed that contaminated IV fluids had little to do with the deaths. The report says the mothers died due to excessive bleeding and infections contracted at the hospital. Authorities are still to take action against the doctors despite the gross medical negligence.
