The activist who was the reason behind a Hyderabad university's action against research student Rohith Vemula is in the media glare. Nandanam Susheel Kumar had alleged that he was beaten by Dalit students including Rohith inside his hostel room in August. He did end up in hospital that night but for an appendicitis surgery, a medical report reveals.
