According to Sunish Jauhari, President, Vitamin Angels India, an international NGO that works on eradicating malnutrition and tackle deficiencies like Vitamin A and anaemia, the ongoing COP26 climate summit will decide present and future of the countries worldwide. He said that it is expected that the summit will result in a rock-solid coomitment amongst all stakehoders to address climate change. Mr Jauhari highlighted that climate change and food systems are connected with each other and as per the World Health Organisation, if nothing is changed then there may be a rise of 20 per cent in hunger and malnutrition level because of climate change.
