How Bangalore's Night Life May Get a Boost on Weekdays
Three months after Bangalore raised the 11 pm deadline to serve liquor till 1 am on weekends, the state government is thinking of implementing it over weekdays too. This comes as good news to the youngsters in the city but the police department is not thrilled. In the past three months, Fridays have become a nightmare for the police as cases of drunken driving have gone up by 40 per cent. (Read more)
