How Did India Accidentally Fire a Missile Into Pakistan?
Last week, the Defence Ministry put out a statement that it had "accidentally" fired a missile which landed in Pakistan. The ministry said the incident was caused by a technical malfunction in the course of its routine maintenance and ordered an inquiry while regretting what had happened. The incident raises questions about the safety systems we have in place as a responsible nuclear power.
