How Gujarat Helped Over 500 Pregnant Women Shift To Hospitals Before Cyclone Landfall

Over 500 pregnant women who were close to their delivery dates were identified and moved to primary hospitals in Gujarat before Cyclone Biparjoy made landfall today, the Kutch District Magistrate told NDTV. Of them, 274 have delivered babies in the last two days. The landfall process for Cyclone Biparjoy peaked with 125 kmph winds and heavy rain pummelling the Gujarat coast. The entire process is expected to continue till midnight.
