How Meghalaya Defines The Time We Live In
Meghalaya might be one of the smallest states in India, but it is playing a giant role in determining the time we are living in. According to scientists we are currently living in the 'Meghalayan Age' of the earth's history. As per geologists, this phase of earth began some 4,200 years ago, and continues till today. The defining moment of earth's history was named after the state, after a stalagmite from it helped in defining climatic events which marked the beginning of the phase.
