On #HelpingHands telethon, Rekha Sharma, Chairperson, National Commission for Women speaks about helping pregnant women who were also COVID-19 positive through a WhatsApp helpline. Started on April 23 this year, during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the WhatsApp helpline assisted expectant mothers in finding hospital beds, getting timely treatment and deliver healthy babies.
