"There are lapses at government level and as Minister of Road Transport and Highways, I don't want to hide it rather I want people to highlight the road safety concerns so government can fix those on priority. The government is already working hard to improve not just the road infrastructure in the country but to create awareness among motorists to adopt road safety measures. I request all stakeholders to come forward work as a single force to make India's roads safer and save lives of people who die in road accidents," said the Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari. Watch this Road Safety Week special show, where the minister spoke about the importance of taking appropriate precautions to curb road accidents, and how the government, corporates and individuals can come together to make India's roads safer.
