Sonu Sood, an actor famous for his many Bollywood roles, is also working tirelessly in various fields through his foundation, the Sood Charity Foundation. Mr Sood, a philanthropist and humanitarian has helped migrants reach their homes during the lockdown imposed in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak. In addition, he arranged medicines for patients in need during time of crisis. His new venture, a scholarship program named after his mother, the Prof Saroj Sood Scholarship, helps provide free education to those who need it. With another new venture, Sambhavam, he aids IAS aspirants to achieve their dreams. His work got him the title of Humanitarian Of The Year for NDTV - 100 Pipers True Legend, Future Of Young India, awards.
