How To Encourage Organ Donation In India?
With one of the lowest rates of organ donation in the world, India continues to struggle to meet the demand supply gap of organs for transplant. To focus on the issue of lack of organ donors in India, Organ India, an NGO working to spread awareness about this issue, organized the third edition of India's only annual collaborative conclave on organ donation, recently in New Delhi. The conclave saw over 20 NGOs and various stakeholders from the private and the government sectors come together to discuss and find solutions and share best practices to improve the state of organ donation in the country.
