Human Health Intricately Connected To Health Of Planet: Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu
At the NDTV-Dettol Banega Swasth India's #SwasthBharat, Sampann Bharat telethon, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu shared his insights on '75 Years of Health, Hygiene and Nutrition in India'. Mr Naidu said while India has made significant gains in health indices, to improve it further, there is a need to augment health infrastructure at various levels. The stark disparities in health infrastructure between urban and rural areas need to be bridged, he said, and called for strengthening primary healthcare systems.
