Hyderabad Gang-Rape Shocks India
A week after a teen's gang-rape in Hyderabad by five people including minors from political families, the Innova car in which she was reportedly assaulted has been found from a farmhouse. The white car is suspected to have been cleaned after the assault, the police said on Sunday after tracking it down to a farmhouse in Moinabad on the outskirts of the Telangana capital. A forensic team is scouring the car for clues. Four of the five accused have been taken into custody, two of them teens. The fifth accused is still missing. One of the minors caught by the police is the son of a local leader of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's Telangana Rashtra Samithi party (TRS). Another minor arrested yesterday is the son of a politician from Sanga Reddy.
