I am a follower of Gandhi's principle: Irom Sharmila
She's called the Iron Lady of Manipur. For the last 12 years Irom Sharmila has been on a fast demanding the repeal of the controversial AFSPA. On Monday she was put on trial for allegedly attempting suicide. She flew into Delhi from Manipur with her nose tube in place and defiantly told the court, "I do not want to take my life but I want justice and peace". She told NDTV she is simply a follower of Gandhi's principles.
