Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the efforts of the conventional media in content creation should be suitably compensated by the social media platforms using them.
Highlighting the four challenges facing the media and society today, Ashwini Vaishnaw said that traditional media is losing out financially because news is "rapidly shifting" from the conventional modes to the digital space.
